D. Inhibiting deiodination of thyroxine (T4)

propylthiouracil acts by
1. inhibit oxidation (for Iodination)
2. inhibit coupling (combination of mono/di iodo thyronin to t3 & t4)
3. inhibit conversion of T4 (less active form) to T3 (more active form), which is D
