why is hypercalcaemia associated with vit A toxicity? can someone pl explain

Hypervitaminosis A causes a thickning of the periost of long bones and periostitis -> Hypercalcaemia , But I could not find the Y that happens , Sorry !

thanx e_shiba for ur ans it does make sense , vit A is req n helps for gwth n epithelial maintenance , repr gwth as well so ... as u said hypercalcaemia would be present .. u ans why... thanx
