my question might feel silly but I wantto ask the recommendation letters from ur country which u give eras do eras call those ppl and confirm the authenticity of those letters or not ?
also is there any special requirement for those letters like they should be in letterhead ofthose proffessor or it is just plain paper in which the person explains that the candidate is hardworking also howmany letters should we have minimum and maximum isther any limit?
can any RMO means resident doctor of my country can write those lors or they can only be write by proffessor or head of department ofthat ward?

Hi Shumaila...
1..No, Eras doesn't confirm it by calling the writers to check their authencity( they just check that the paper is original and not a photocopy)..
2..Its better that LOR is written on a letterhead..i never heard of anything other than that..
3..again, its better that it is written by a senior doctor and not a resident..never heard of that either..

thanks for ur reply also I want to ask u how many lors are required inminimum and maximum?
also if we apply in med paeds and family practice do we need all letters of same speciality or we can show l etters given by internal medicine doctor or other odctor for same specialities?

Hi ...min 3 LORs..there is no max but i guess ERAS will upload only 4 LORs for one program(get as many from different specialties, send them to eras and assign according to ur choice)..
you can assign any LORs to any specialities but its better if they r from the same specialities..for Family practice different LORs from various specialities is a good idea...
