I came here to US 3 months back
I hav applied for rediency this year but dont have any call so far
I am looking for a research job/observer ship/externship
can any one pl explain the procedure to me
I desperately need a research job or observership to strengthen my credentials
I am here with my wife and 2 kids and we are just sitting idly here killing time-eating up all our savings
pl any one help me

Well, Kemcolian...I would advise you to go out and start talking to people in the nearby hospital/University...email them/ set up an appointment with the professors doing research...expressing your interest in their work...ask them if they any openings in their lab...if not, tell them you'll be happy to volunteer in their lab as you are looking for research experience and you find their work interesting..this way you can hope to get your foot in the door...once you starting working in their lab, they'll get to know and trust you...this often leads to more opportunities such as a formal job...just my $0.02 cents...
