I am planning to give step3 mid Nov. Still waiting for application to go through and permit to come.
Started studying couple of days back. Did cardio and couple of OB videos. Now I am studying the cardio step notes ( got it from a friend). Hopefully should be able to finish it today. Then I will start on the Ob notes.

hey!
i started off with medicine... done the first 5 chapters... also went thru a little OB today..
i feel the step3 notes are too simplistic and dont cover many areas..
subscribed to USMLEworld also...u can guess how terribly its going!
btw - have they sent u the usmle-cd yet?

Not yet. I could not finish what I had planned today. Hopefully weekend should be a little better.
So you are doing UW and step 3 notes side by side?

what books are you using.i am thinking of buying either strong medicine or first aid . do we need both .what about kaplan step2 ck and step 3 notes?

I am using step 3 notes, UW and FA just like donut.
Hey donut..I didnt do anything yesterday. Had some distractions. Hopefully should make up for that today. Still with the cardio notes..

I started UW but didnt do well at all. So thought I will study a bit and then go back to it. Hows it going people?

hey winnie..yeah UW is really screwing me over...im doing miserably and feeling very bad about it sad

so all set for interviews huh? I am done with cardio, started with Gyn. It is really going slow. Hope the pace picks up.

thanks winnie/donut. got fsmb cd by post today. my plan is to revise ck notes and then one review book for step 3 . may be strong medicine. first aid new edition will be out anytime now. also have crush step 2 . dont know which one to choose. not heard a lot about first aid for step 3.any suggestions.

im almost done with intmed notes for step3...watching the videos sporadically, still have lots left.
planning to review from FA only as i dont have much time..
UW is going slowly.

Hi guys,
Have not accomplished much over the weekend. Have been busy with family
stuff. Still trying to get something done today.
Also got my step3 usmle cd. when are you planning to do it? I am still not feeling brave enough to go back to UW. Ideally want to revise the notes and do UW but I dont know how practical it is given the little time left.
Hows it going with you guys? and how much time do you think UW requires?

hey im laso planning to take step 3 in mid nov
pls guys lets get serious ,make a good study plan and all work on it
step 3 is no joke..it is supposed to be the toughest of all..cos generally imgs take it before residency and also everyone gets limited time to prepare for it
so lets all work together and make use of our time v have in hand

hello,
I agree that we should get down to some serious studying. I got my permit today. Called to schedule for mid november but no dates were available till early december! So I have booked dates for Dec 4th and 5th.
What materials are you using loser? have you started your prep yet?
