Answers to your questions:

1. Arthrocentesis.

2. NSAID'S (INDOMETHACIN 50 mg 3 times/ day)

3. Again, arthrocentesis--bcoz a different jt is affected and to rule out a deadly, septic jt. Rx: NSAID's & Life style modifications,..low-purine diet, alcohol limitation, avoiding drugs that ppt gouty attacks.

4. Now, pt. fits the criteria for chronic hypouricemic Rx---So, first, know if pt. is a undersecretor/overproducer, by doing 24-Hr urine uric acid levels.

5. Chronic colchicine prophylaxis (0.6 mg /day).

Plz, add on any corrections / info.
