hello iam a silent member of this forum.my case is iam an old img, going to appear for step1 for the fourth time.my previous scores were 60,68,73.to tell u the truth iam so scared to appear for the test because of the fear of failing.i took nbme form 4 ,got 420.but since i knew many questions beforehand iam not that happy with the score.even now when i do some questions iam making mistakes in picking the right answer .i have booked a date for the exam for next week.iam presently going thru the kaplan text books for final revision.using usmle world as a study tool.i strongly feel i know the material but my approach to questions are not right.but i don't know how to correct it.can please someone help me to pass this time.i don't want to keep on postponing my exam.my first attempt was 4 yrs ago.please i want everyone's prayers.

i think u should do another NBME, if u score above 400 i think u'll be fine, right now it looks like u will pass, i think ur fine, write the exam, cause ur very close, all u need is a 75. I think ur on ur way, however if u can pospone the exam and do more questions, i think thats a good idea, and read FA, not all of kaplan, if ur exam is next week, focus on high yields right now and re-read golgian high yields. If u have not read golgian high yields already, don't start now, cause u'll just ever whelm urself. Stick with FA and questions and perhaps NBME 1 or 2 form. Ok best of luck,

lisa
