I am IMG,graduated in june 2005,i have passed my step 1 with 243/98.
i m gonna get my CS score after 10th of Oct,
i m gonna write Ck in november,,
Is it good idea to apply for 2007 match in IM,on H1B.
plz help me i m confused.....plz......smiling face

depends on what u want. a uni on h1 will b tuff unless u have other stuff in ur cv. an average community is possible.

u shud go for match...looking at ur step1 score try to get into good program on J1..ON J1 u'll have more chances of fellowship...also, for H1 most of the programs require u to pass step3...GL

hie.. i have a question... y is it not possible to get fellowship on h1,,,
is it because;
1.its for max. 6 years and once u stat feloowship after 3 years on h1... the green card is not offereed in time and the study intrupts..
2. the programs dont offer felowship to h1 holder so have to wait to convert it to GC
3.or any other reason

but what after fellowship?
i mean do i have to leave US after my fellowship or not?
and is it easy to get weiver on j1
