Hello
guys i`m starting my usmle step 1 coaching from tomorrow.i have joined Kaplan and they have provided me all the kaplan material of each n every subject in step1 and Q bank also.
now i wanna know what else do i need to study beside all kaplan books and q bank?
plz leme know ur inputs as im bit confused that if i need some other books etc.
ill try updating my progress as much as i can.
and do lemme know only those books which i can buy in india and websites if there are any that can help!

Hi Maximize, right now Iīm only collecting info for Step1 preparation, e.g. which books to take, technics etc., so I donīt have any experience of my own. I suggest to use the search function of this forum, I started with threads like http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/comments.php?id=2...

and read what other people replied to the different books, their opinions and so on.
In almost every subject it comes down to 1-2 books which are preferred, so check those books and make your choice which one suits you best.
Personally I like the suggestions of p53, using a combination of Kaplan Lecture Notes and Review books.
