AAAAA, I was referring to mechanisms for hypocalcemia in common ARF (nephrotoxic, isquemic...), not pathologies directly causing it... That's 1, saadtazjam...

eosinophiluria isalso found in atheroembolic renal failure, cholesterol emobolic phenomenon

Correct, krsna. Last cause would be poliangiitis nodosa. Hypocalcemia in ARF usually is caused by diminished resistence to PTH, lack of vit D and metastatic deposition of calcium phosphate.
