Hello, could someone help me decide which q bank to pick. I have two and a half months left to study for the USMLE step 1, and would like to choose a qbank. I was looking through the forums and I have rounded it down to these four (paid) qbanks:
1. Kaplan – 2150 questions
2. Kaplan Integrated Vignettes Qbank – 1250 questions
3. USMLERx ( by authors of FA)
4. USMLE WORLD Qbank
I thought that I would do numbers 2 & 3 + free qbanks and leave out numbers 1 and 4 because I read that the original Kaplan Qbank is not as helpful as it was two years ago. Is this a good idea? I don´t want to do all 4 because of time constraints and the high cost. I am kind of afraid to make a big mistake if I don’t choose Kaplan’s 2150 questions.
Please help…

hi
my advise is to take kap q-bank first and then usmleworld. At least that's what i did.
But i can' t give you any guaranties, because i couldn' t take the test that i was programed for yet.
More..after the test

i would say, uw is also a very good qbank cause they really have detailed explanations there, so it is a really good learning tool, but i never use the other qbanks before.. so can't give you any comparisons....

I still don´t know what I will choose but I see a little bit more clear now.
I kind of want to try Kaplan IV but probably will take Kaplan instead..
and afterwards the one you advised.......
