U r lucky becoz u now know and can be prepared. I got a call today from a PD and he told he likes to surprise his prospective candidates.
Usual ques are--why this program? If u have US exp. then some info about that. if u have PG exp then that . It will be cool provided u r used to the acccent and are calm. Address him by his name.Thank him in the end. These may seem silly but these can be easily forgotten.GL.

by name he meant "James Bond ".Anybody trying to surprise me like that will be worthy of big time pleansantries .If I get a call like that I will fake the sound and vibrations of an earthquake or a bomb blast .Or another easy way would be to tell that you are on your daily ,unavoidable ,inevitable ,regular ,usual, routine, repititive and boring visit to the restroom and would like to be in a better place to be able to withstand the interview.I hope i hav made myself clear.

If you want to loose no ground at all against him ,just tell him that you are in a plane which is just about to take off ,start rubbing the area over the mike /mouthpiece and hang up in 10 seconds.

You can alwasys call him later

I m in NewYork..so lacal call.....I read 'delusions' post and knew about few mainstream Qs they wud ask..so I prepared for them...they asked me why I m working with a cardiologist when I m interested in FM..I said its better to do something then nothing and I have been trying to get an observership..i didn't know what else to say abt it...it seemed like they were more interested in communication skills..they were polite and wud let me speak more....GL..
