I got my step 1 score which is 92/226, I am looking for 2008 match in internal medicine so how good is my score. Do I have a good chance with this score? please reply I am a bit sad wht this score

Hi star1 Congrats!!! youe score is not bad,and ur chances are decided by many things step1 score/step2 score,ECFMG certified,visa status,US clinical experience etcetc Good Luck Parul

hey Do you really want a positive answer? Cause the above response was very positive......92 is good score. U still have step 2 to score well so dont worry. Just work hard and u will do well.

if you want a Univ. program and you need visa, try to enter some research in US, or get some US clinical experience and earn strong LOR. your score is not too bad, but try to get more than 95 in step 2 CK and finish all step including step 3 before September 1, 2007. You have to work hard and try to be in US at least from March, and apply earlier for observership. Use your time wisely. Also, from now,search program and contact htem and make a program favorite for yourself. so you manage all the things before application season and you will incease your chances. Make yourself familiar with FREIDA, OASIS and NRMP. Good Luck
