Why is tea-colored urine and pale stool formed in obstructive jaundice?

because of the biliary obstruction, so the bile can not paint the urine and stool as it usually does. thatīs a step 1 question.

biliary obstruction means the water soluble conjugated bilirubin cant escape into the gI but it pills into the urine. hence the latter is darker
