cant i see my LOR what they (ERAS) have uploaded??? since i have applied for two specialties I have got 2 LORS written from the same LOR writter, with a different specialty mentioned in each LOR. Now i am having problem assigning them to programs!!! what do I do? some one plzzz help. I am really worried!! It wl be a big mess if they mix it up!! Is there any way i can avoid such a blunder?

Dont Panic .Calm down
Create 2 lor writers in MY ERAS like this -LOR no 1=MRX for INTernal medicine
LOR no2= MRX for Surgery
Now first of all drop an e-mail to ECFMG regarding this and request them to take extra care while dealing with your LORS
ONce you have done the e-mailing ,Get on phone and start dialling them .Keep on dialling untill you get through .When you are not dialling your dog should dial .
I dont anticipate that ECFMG will mess up your LORs like that (unless of course you have not created a clear name and destination for the lors on MY ERas) .BUt to be safe ,you better call.

Thanks Laptop, for the reply. I mailed them and they replied to me ( i asked the same query thrice!! lol) and they suggested that i shld mention the specialty properly, and also my letter shld hv it clearly mentioned which specialty they are supposed to go. I have mentioned that in the body of my reco letter, the specilaty to which it is directed. i hope they dont mess it up. i was just wondering if they wld read that much!! i have informed them that it is written in the LOR in d first 2 lines itself.
wen i have ticked that i have NOT waived my right to see the LOR. dont i get to see it actually????????

no..u don't get to c it actually until u request ur reco writer to show it to u(if he has kept a copy with him for reference)....GL
