End of your anxiety?
grin
Btw, did they mail out on thurs and you receive on sartuday as usual? I'm so nervous now.

  #3

shumaila, can I ask you how did you perform on NBME before the exam? Does nbme correlate to the real one?
thanks

hie shumaila... congrets.. i got mine as well.. its 235/95...smiling face and when i see the progress report... its again the pshychiatry that drowned me down with preventive medicine

  #5

psychiatry pulled me down too. and yes doing NBME definitely helps in real exam, although co-relation in scores is not always seen in all cases, but seen in most cases.

Dear Shumaila -
Congrats on passing your step 2. In most cases there is no minimum score required for residency programs as long as you have passed the exams. The programs that recruit FMG also doesn't have a min score requirement. When are you planning to apply for your Match ?

thanks alot Mazinger and wish u goodluck for ur future
My score in uw first time was around50s and 60s but when I was doing it 2nd time it goes up to 75 sometimes 80s and 90s cumulativescore I didnttremember well but I t was aroundI think In high 50s

and I read kaplan notes and do uw and pretests but anyone can escape pretests bc they are not essential

  #18

thanks mazinger

my score in uw is around 60

but I didnt believe in that scores it depends onpaper how much u score and also about ur previous knowledge from med school

like if we do uw and kaplan we can answer some questions but not all bc many questions were regarding patho physiand histo

anatomy 2 questions and histo I think 1 or 2

thats all

if u want to ask anything else u r most welcome

wish u goodluck for s2 and in getting residency

shumaila
