Hello Everybody,

I have a question regarding portfolios to be carried along for interview.I am in a dilemma. Can I take a leather portfolio which has handles and looks like a small suitcase or should I carry a very small one.My problem is all my certificates are of different lengths and not fitting into a small and smart portfolio.

Please advice anybody.I would love to have bbb's opinion bcoz she might have seen hundreds of them.

Thanks everybody

Hey skadoc,

A small portfolio is kinda standard for interviews. At staples you can find cheap and good loking ones.

About your certificates, you do not need to bring original to the interview (other than original LORs). Make copies and you will be find.

according to my understanding, many (or most) hospitals donīt require that we carry with paperwork (copies f. ex.), so why should we do it?

Hi chemamr,

Wht do you think is better?:

a) Carry copies of some documents,i.e., PS, Lors, diploma, CV, etc, and never used them.

b) Do NOT carry them and being asked for one during an interview.

I would pick A anytime

Tiny problem - I have seen everything from an expensive leather briefcase, to faux leather portfolios, to plastic binders. Carry anything that you want, but not a paper bag (yup, saw that once).

p.s. Since ERAS, we have never asked anyone for additional information. Applicants give me information, but I have never asked for it.....
