HI i paid to many programs i applied to already without my LORs uploaded yet. most of them retrieve my caf/ps/certificate/usmle scores. will they delete my file due to incomplete application? i know this is my ignorance to do that but now i am so anxious!! what if they discard my application to so many mnay programs?

I was just kidding with you .DOnt mind .YOU will be absolutely fine .No need to worry .The lors will get uploaded automatically if you have assigned them .No program will delete /discard your application .Its a misconception .get rid of it .

Now what if I was not kidding with you .Now what do i do with you /

hi laptop, thanks for responding. i am planning to call ecfmg about the possible scenario of reapplying. at the same time, i will call the programs i applied to already and without my LORs. asking them if they are interested in my application so far. (so far i received one rejection among the 78 i applied)
what do you think? nod

I think there is no need to call either ECFMG or the programs .The LORs will get uploaded when they have to and program will definitely review your application .BUt if you are seeking an official reassurance ,then you may call them .Do write your experience here so that someone can benefit from it later .

There is no need of calling ECFMG as probably it would be not possible "reappliying" and your LoRs will be uploaded when they are received at the normal time no matter what you do.

First you need to focus...
Try to cheer up and calm down.

You chose to apply early in abscense of LoRs. It was your choise and you will never know what could be worse: Holding you application until you LoRs were received or applying earlier with out them. Personaly I dont see you did wrong, maybe I would do the same.

Now that you applied early without LoRs i dont think this will harm your application. Maybe you sacrificed some prgrs who like to see a complete applications since the very first moment they receive your application but there are still all progs who will keep dounloading applications and they will finally receive your LoRs (when received and loaded by ERAS)as they are not able to chose the applications.

Maybe those progs who already rejected you made it based on your CAF info instead of your LoRs abscense. I have heard that many progs dont read your LoRs until the interview..

Every prgram coordinator/director knows that takes some time to get all documents even if the applicant has already sent them so try to think that they are used to this process and wait until your application is complete.

Finally, if you want to call every program coordinator/director just think that they are very busy at this moment... Calling all of them perhaps will cause a negative view of your applcation instead of increasing your chances.

Isn't thats the way its supposed to be? I mean, even if your LORs are received by ECFMG (as shown in OASIS), they aren't actually scanned (i.e. "uploaded") until you apply to atleast 1 program?

Correct me if I am wrong.

Thank god..

nothing serious happened.. i thought some big disastrous calamity happened since i'm not in touch with reality these days..
