hi all
may be this sound silly but I wantto ask that when anyonesay match 2007 what doesthat mean? it mean ppl who start residency in 2007 means they have applied for residency in 2006 or it means aaplyin for residency in 2007
also I just give step 2 I know by oasis trick that I passed now I want to apply in aug 2007 for residency so can any any body advice that what should I do next step 1 or cs I saw there are no dates available in Chicago till 28 feb 2007 so if I gave step 1 in may june and then cs in july can I get my ecfmg certificate by the time og applying for match also do we have necessarily ecfmg certificate by the time we apply for residency

Match 2007 means for ppl who'll start residency in 2007
You can take CS and step 1 in any order.the score reporting schedule for CS in available on www.ecfmg.org,you can check the dates and apply accordingly so that you are certified by the time you apply i.e. sept'2007

people on this forum are currently applying for 2007 match, residencies will start in june/july 2007.
its upto you if when you want to take step1 and CS, both are required. I suggest appear in CS as early as possible as scheduling and visa is a problem and you have plently of time for 2008 match. Step1 is the most important exam in terms of getting residency.
