Hi,
I know it is rather late to ask this question, still how do u select the programs?.. Because I heard some of them r really bad and I need H1B visa too.. Got 97/99 and applying for internal medicne and Pediatrics.

For Visa Sponsorship: Google FMG friendly hospitals...but try and check out/verify the "lists" you get...this one is not easy...also search this site...you will find lots of useful info.
Call programs you are interested in and ask the questions you have....
Best Approach:
1) Check out program listings by state on Freida/MyEras
2) Check out program websites from the Eras/Freida links and see if they have what you want; else call them right away
3)Assign lors, ps. transcripts, photo...etc..to selected programs
4) Apply!
