yes HCO3- is the correct choice In phenobarb (a weak acid) poisoning, administration of HCO3- would increased the pH of urine which would increase the ionization of phenobarbital. As a result, there would be decrease in poison reabsorption and increase in its elimination from the body. NH4Cl would be used to speed elimination of weak base. Epi would cause constriction of afferent arteriole of glomerulus and thus decrease GFR, leading to decrease in clearance
