OK, so maybe I'm not the best informed med student...
For people who fail Step I and have to re-take, do you have to pay for the test again?
I recently took the test and think that I totally bombed. I'm just waiting for the ball to officially drop.
Thanks to those who can answer my q.

Yes you have to pay the whole fee again if you appeared on the test day at prometric center and took the test
