I have my California letter ready. I have comitted a huuuuuuuuuuuge blunder!! I forgot to put it in ERAS as an LOR,the way I shud have. & I have ALREADY applied to ALL California programmes & assigned them my other LORs !! ALL the programmes have downloaded ALL my 4 letters!! I have assigned maximum 4 LORs , can now not assign the California letter as the 5th LOR to them! WHAT TO DO NOW??! Any forum goru can help me with this??! Any idea what I shud do now? I already e-mailed Eras support,& the ECFMG office is cloesed,coz I just now at 4:50 P.M pacific time realized !! Shittttttttt!!! Plzzzzzzzzzzzz some 1 reply for the peace of my mind,I cannot wait till Monday for a reply! Maybe some1 else had a similar problem & can help me with my problem?? This weekend will be a torture! Hope every 1 else has a better weekend than mine !!

Hey Saira...first relax!
In ERAS go to 'Documents' tab -> 'Letters of Recomendation' ->'Designate a new letter writer'-> save it as 'California Letter'
Now go to 'Programs' tab --> 'Programs applied to' ->open each of the california programs u applied to and de-assign one of the 4 LORs -> and assign the 'California letter'
By doing this they'll know that you will be providing them the 'California letter' and hopefully should not reject your application on that ground.
Meanwhile, you should fed-ex the 'California Letter' to ECFMG asap so that it can be uploaded at the earliest.

I have already sent it! Sending is not pb...designating in ERAS was a pb! I just had not doe it....now I have,be4 even reading ur post...but I'll do as u say..de-assign one of teh 4 LORs...U ARE GREAT! Hope it helps..gotta runnnnnn! MANY MANY THANX!
