Ok my exam experience:-), I really can't believe it's done, but I keep reminding myself that you don't need to do Qs or open those books today and I can tell you it feels really good... So the night before my exam I slept well, I woke up in the middle of the night a few times but all in all it was good and in the morning I was fresh and felt ready. I should confess before going to exam I took 10 minutes to go over epidemiology and satatistics and that helped me a lot, because 2 or 3 questions I answered without pause on exam. I reached the centre around 7:50 and they let me start at 8. It was kind of sudden for me, I thought I had to wait till 9, but there I was in front of monitor, so eventhough I had gone over the tutorial before I decided not to skip it and I took 5 minutes just to cool my nerves and then there it was, the marathon started , Not all materials were well covered, I had worked a lot on pharma, which I didn't have that many qs from, and some of them were about drugs which I didn't even know them, (I had studied kaplan and looked over FA quickly), there were many questions about GI pathology, oh god, in each block I think I had some, There were many qs about RNA,DNA, experimental questions...There were a lot with backpain and dysuria or gyn problems, not that much from biochemistry, oh and the big subject in my test :Anatomy. As for blocks, block 1 and 5 and 6 were hard in compare to the rest of them, I remeber block two being really easy, all memorized material, you read the question and boom the answer and the next and ...But eventhough in my preparations I usualy had an extra 20 minutes in each block, here except for the last block which I had an extra 7 or 8 minutes for the rest I had only 1 or two extra minutes. But everything passed so quickly, I couldn't believe that it was 4 o'clock and I had been there for 8 hours. Now what I recommend , know molecular biology really well, I knew that some of these questions you couldn't find in kaplan or FA, but I guess if you knew the concepts well you could somehow guess the answer, know upper and lower limb anatomy well, Know GI path really well(including liver and pancreas and...) Best of luck to you all.And I'll be happy to answer your questions about exam as much as I can

Thanx everybody:-), elias I did nbme 1 nearly 6weeks ago, and I didn't do the rest of them except from some questions here on the board, yes the method or design of a lot of questions were similar, but I didn't see any repeats on the exam, I also did UW, and I can tell you it helped me a lot, maybe more than kaplan qbank, again there were no exact repeats or at least I don't remeber one, but I think after doing UW my way of thinking and reasoning improved a lot, specially in those questions that you have some base but you don't know the exact answer and you have to think and make connections in your mind and reach the best logical answer you can. hope this helps:-),will be happy to answer any other questions.

Good Luck khorshid. Enjoy your life momentarily then hit step 2. As they've said it's good to take the test soon after step 1 while everything's still fresh...
