They do offer premathces at Jackson Memorial, know at least two 3rd year residents, 3 second years and at least one in first year... and for next year already 2 more. My rfriend was offered a prematch the day of her interview last year

drpurple, Hi! were those prematches in IM? Would you happen to know how thier interviews were? I mean, obviosly their interviews went great but what type of questions were asked, was it easy going, did they ask medical questions, any info is welcome.

sure Dr Hope, more than glad to answer your questions, hope to help somehow Yes :nod , in internal medicine, interviews were easy going, very friendly, usual questions: such as strenghts, weaknesses, plans for future, no medical questions as far as I know, but very very friendly questions and laid back interviewers...

UIC- advocate christ , oaklawn, IL k1, i wanted to ask, does Rosalind franklin offer prematches ?? i asked them and they said no .. so i dont think that prog offers prematches.. they have submitted all their quota for the match

sorry.....but wat is exactly prematch i think it is a period 2 train in some hospital lower rated b4 u can apply 4 match.am i true plz wat is the req 4 that and wat is the advantage make me do that btw am considered IMG...... allowed 4 us?? thanx 4 help

Prematch is a contract the program offer the IMGs they are interviewing and like a lot, then they don't go for match, they end their search right there. AMGs are not offered prematch.

you can check the NRMP website, look under directory, then just choose the field and state, then the hospital/s that you are looking for... the number of quota/slots that are left for the match for each hospital is there...so if the number of slots are still complete, that means they dont offer prematch and will get all interns from the match...if the number of slots are less than the number on their freida webpage, then they definitely offer prematch...hope this helps...

Lady of mercy offers prematches.. so does many community places in NY esp Brobx, Brooklyn.
