Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Hi everyone,

Just gave my CK exam today. Here is a brief rundown of how it went.

Internal Medicine (60%): cardiac/renal/liver-gallbladder-pancreas

Psychiatry (15%): personality disorders/mood disorders/drugs

Paeds (10%): immunology/neonatology

OB/GYN (10%): obstetrics mainly

Surgery (5%): mixed

I prepared for approx 3 months.

UW = 55% (random, untimed)

QBank = 63% (random, timed)

NBME Form 2 = 410 (3 weeks out)

USMLE CD = 81% (1 day out)

In general the exam seemed OK. Time constraints occurred in 2 blocks.

The lifesaver for me was that question lengths were somewhat minimal. Average of 6-8 lines. No half page descriptions to read..........

So I keep my fingers crossed and hope I make it.

Will post again when I get the result.

Best of luck to everyone else

Ann
