Guys 'n' gals, I got my score yesterday....217/88. I don't know how good a score this is to get me into residency...but I am content and my heart is at peace. As I opened the envelope...my sympathetic system was in full swing with my heart pounding. The forum is a great place...but as I look back...I feel (my personal opinion) that it is like a tourist spot...come...see...meet people...but go back to the books and reflect! I appreciate the professionalism of the ECFMG/ NBME...par excellence. Thank you...everybody!

I'm studying from "microbiology ridiculously easy" and im exhausted over the list of treatments they offer for each bacteria. They list several antiobiotics that can treat each infection. I'm confused over which treatment to memorize for each infection. Are we suppose to remember all of the antiobiotics for each infection? I also looked over kaplan micro and it also offers several treatment for some of the infections and some of the treatments are different from the ones listed on "ridiculously easy". Im confused over which treatments to memorize. Can someone plz help me out on how i should approach this. which source should i use for the treatments?

Honestly, I would read everything in MMRS BESIDES the antibiotics section. I think FA has a great pharm section (maybe minus ANS, and pharmacokinetics/dynamics), so I would just look at t taht.
