dear forum 'elders',
i need your help...
i initially ticked on the CAF on ERAS that i was NOT ECFMG certified
now that my certificate has been issued, i am not able to edit my application to reflect this.
help please, what can i do? i had delayed applying to have my certificate in hand for a 'STRONGER' 'MORE COMPLETE' application.

Go ahead and apply, there is no way to edit the CAF
You may mention the issue in your personal statement if it fits

Apply now, there is no need of having your "ECFMG certif on hand" as long as you know the issue date which will appear at you OASIS account.
Delaying your application will make you lose IVs chances as I've heard from people here many times.
On the other hand, is not possible to change your CAF once it was certified and sbmited, however your USMLE transcript and ECFMG statuts will tell PDs your Cert has been issued when this occurs and PDs will look at your USMLE transcript for sure.

i think you can change your ecfmg status in your profile and its not in CAF. i think it should not be a problem to change profile .. GL
