I am just joking in this stressful time, I hope that I can relieve some stress of mine and yours. Really, I don't know but I will give you these advices: * it is difficult to get research on H1 * if you get on H1, You are restricted to H1 programs only to continue at maximum another 5 years of residency, because H1 is max for 6 years. * if you want another H1 or F1 you should await 365 days before the issuance of new one, this is called the Ban period. * For my knowledge, new resrictions errupted for issuance of J1 after H1, I am not sure but heard that!
So, before going in such step calculate this very thouroghly as you may LOOSE the chance of residency here which is our ultimate goal from all these stuffs!!

u only get what you look for...look out and you will find what you are looking for.....its poosible to get research on H-1...

If you want to do basic research, such as physiology, pharm, or neuro, almost all univ post their jobs on their web site. When it's time to decide VISA, just ask for H1B. It takes a little longer, but it's very doable.

hi guys
I have been offered the research job on H1b .The problem is they have asked me to do the job for longer time and i did not wanted to do that for more then a year .....as i know the problem of H1 b being only for 6 year.So i might stuck at the end not having enough H1b.......so i am confsed appreantly i have already said know to them .....as my final gole is do clinical work not the reseach work

If you want reasearch apply for a MS here in some biological science, u will get aid and a f1 visa, so no later complications.

You can apply for the greencard while on H1b.
