Hi I plan to take NBME test 2 weeks before my actual test in Nov. So I may buy my forms between 1st & 2nd week of Nov. The problem is that I have been on this forum since june & I have been readin & solving posts labelled as NBME , without realising that it could affect my true performance when I actually take the forms. My question is, does NBME always has the same set of questions OR will there be a different set of questions by the time I take test is NOV. I mean does the questions change over a period of time. Please guide me as I know that performance in NBME closely matches ur test performance.

There use to be only 2-forms ealier and they have added 2-more forms. So that total is 4 (each with 4-blocks). Your scores may inflate as you have seen lot of NBME qs been discussed here & there. If you know which form you have seen most, try taking other forms (assuming the forums are not shuffled). Hope this helps! NBME only useful for assessmnet after finishing questions from sources like Kaplan and usmleworld etc.

yes your performance on NBME will be higher than actual. Besides, there are NBME q on the forum that are not labeled, I recognized a couple of them on my nbme1...
