yes, suppression is the correct answer. of all the defenses , suppression is the only CONSCIOUS defence. when used moderately, useful for the person who uses it. in this person, has forgotten the information, and knows that he forgot it. he can retreive the information as and when required. REPRESSION, is unconscious, and person not only forgot the information, and forgot that he forgot. he can NOT retrieve the info, even if he wants it.
