Actually the last comparison btw The female and a computer( by the appriopriately named laptop ) is quite intruiging. However laptop, at the end of the day, i 'd like to retire to my bedroom cuddling/looking at one of those 2...or a book. My computer doesnt come into my room...not if i have a GF.

Gandhi, the Mahatma, an acknowledged apostle of truth, is usually down to earth in his expressions. Here are some of his thoughts on women.

Of all the evils for which man has made himself responsible, none is so degrading, so shocking or so brutal to me, as his abuse of the better half of humanity, the female sex, not the weaker sex. It is the nobler of the two, for it is even today the embodiment of sacrifice, silent suffering, humility, faith and knowledge.

Very truly said Nisha .Thanks to Mr Gandhi for saying these words and thanks to you for bringing them to the fore.I am one who has an ingrained belief in the power and special attributes of women .And its serious .what I wrote above in my previous posts was nonserious. My mother will cut my powersupply if I start believing in what i said and my sister will throw me in an active volcano for the same .

Ok so the topic is changed now .Now i would like to highlight the Power a woman possesses by virtue of being a female .I am reminided of an incident which happened on my bus ride throuhg a hilly terrain .The bus veered off the road and fell in a valley .ONe helicopter came and rescued me .I came on the road and when i looked dwon into the valley the view was breathtaking

I could see 11 people - 10 men and 1 woman - hanging onto a rope that came down from a helicopter.

They all decided that one person should get off, coz if they didn't, the rope would break and everyone wud die.

No one could decide who should go, soo FInally, the woman gave a REaLLy touching speech saying how she would give up her life to save the others, because women were used to giving up things for their husbands and children, giving in to men, and not receiving anything in return.

When she finished speaking, all the men started ClaPPING .

I am reassured maveric.NIc4 to know that you are recovering .YOu will soon receive your medal of honor. Next time never get yourself into something where you will have to bang your hand against the wall. This morning your futile attempts to simplify and explain things to ___________ and your condition enraged me and I took on 1/2 the population of earth..But I soon realized that I will be killed if I dont reach a compromise quickly .SO now things are cool;a compromise has been attained. Learn a lesson from your scars and never try to explain things to _________.Your scars will never let you forget it.

good luck

Heck, I was just going to ask if I was actually nice to someone on the telephone. Please, if it was me, call my boss and let him know that it's happened at least once.

No, not me. Not yet.

Your comment in that racist PC at Lomalinda thread, where you said, "heck that was me!" and this ultragood PC and your comment that if you were so good it has to be passed to your boss....Will the real bbb ever be understood or she will be a mystery as concluded by laptop?

Ok. bbb, one quick question.

I am sure that somebody from this forum must have come across you, and your paths must have crossed. Maybe during interview or maybe soembody from this forum, is also in your residency program.

Has this ever happened? I dont want the name of who this member was or when this happened? But has this ever happened?

I've met many persons from here during the course of interviews. One person approached me when I said something during the day that he read here (I said that math made my brain bleed). He came right out and asked.

I have at least three people in my residency who are from the list here - I think two are interns.

It happens. Especially with the pictures of my dogs on the board behind my desk.grin

Well, that's the thing, bbb: I looked for your dogs' picture in the office of the 2 PCs I know, and it was not there. That's why I am sure they are not you. Although there is a PC I know that could be you... For sure the nickname applies. grin But it's too late, I can't enter her office anymore! shockedgrin

And please, just for the new ones understanding... tell us what your nickname stands for again.
