A 61 year old man has a 3 month history of dull, aching pain on the left side of this chest. Which of the following is the most appropriate next step in evaluation of this patient?
a. ask him about his past medical history
b. ask him about his family history
c. ask him for additional details about his chest pain
d. order an exercise stress test
e. perform a cardiovascular exam

Not sure how this this Micro? Sounds more like a Beh. Sci question!

C. I would ask him for more details about his chest pain. (i.e. severity, radation, associated symptoms, relieving factors...)

Anyone else?
