I have received the invitation for an interview in a university program. They ask me to fill a paper with some info and among this data they required me to give a credit card number, with name, expiration code etc. in order to charge the cost of the hotel just incase I dont cancell the interview 48 hours prior. Im not sure about it. Is it usual? The documents and email look like to be in order, however the email is not among my messages in the Messages section of my ERAS. To give a credit card number is a risk. Does anybody have a similar experience? Just in case I will call the program first thanks goood luck

Yeah, Its normal....they either ask you to call the hotel with your credit card number or give it to them after collecting it with you. You should anyway talk to the prog co-ordinator for any doubts.

Your alternative plan is to make your own hotel arrangements. Good luck

Best bet is to buy an outdoor camping bed .Why do we need a good hotel to sleep when its well known that we sleep with our eyes closed. For those who have paresis of orbicularis oculi muscle and who sleep with their eyes open ,its best to invest in a beutiful hotel. For others its the most imprudent thing to do. When i pay for a beutiful hotel i make sure that i inject botulin toxin in my orbicularis oculi so that i dont sleep with my eyes closed.
