A 57 yo man present to the ED with severe abdominal pain. On examination the patient is noted to have almost total bowel obstruction secondary to the presence of several small bowel tumors. The patient states that his abdominal symptoms began shortly after taking a medication for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. D. Metoclopramide this is a prokinetic drug mean it increases bowel motility and when there is already bowel osbtruction , it will produce severe abdominal pain
