Hi , I am a mpther of 1 year old , trying to study for dec exam. have done a little bit but i am not sure whether i am doing it right or not. I donot have any partner to study with . i am doing with q book , have very old edition , 2000. i don't know how is my prep going. i will try to write my preparation to judge myself and for u all to tell me if i am right or what else shud i do to improve myself.

I do not know what i am doing whole day , rading and not getting anywhere.i have thought of completing biochenm with immuno logy this september and qs fromm q book. well i am still on 8th chapter . i donot know whether i will be able to complete them.

THANKS FOR UR ENCOURAGING WORDS . I AM REALLY LOST . I HAVE NOT DONE MUCH QS. I AM GOING THRU THE BIO CHEM AUDIO LECTURES WHICH ARE VERY BORING. AND HE SPEAKS IN MONOTOUS TONE AND SO MANY INFORMATIONS TO TAKE IN , THAT I AM FEELING VERY LOW.
ANYONE GIVING IN DEC???????????????

hi, yesterday, i did a couple of qs from physio. well, not on my own. i had to look at the answers mostly and read after that. when am i going to do it all alone???????????
today, i did few lectures of bio chem . i will have to read the chapters after listening to the video. and i plan to do qs from the physio kaplan cardio chapter. lets see whether i do it some on my own?????????
my speed is slow. is my perp enough for dec ??????????

hi usmle 4 me,
its not the baby who is a problem but i think i am very lazy and pospone my deadlines. see, yesterday, i thought to complete cvs questions but i cud not. i cud not read the chapters whose video i saw so, i had to spend the morning half today doing that.
for the questions , i am not able to answer them on my own. i don't know whether i don't understand them or what???????i have to look at the answers .today, i plan to do the cvs qs. lets see what happens. whether my deadline to finish biochem at the end of this month succeeds or not. still 2 days r left. wonders can happen !!!!!!!!!!!!haaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaa

I don't know how far we are but u sound just like me....
I guess the reason for doing questions is more about to know how they ask and then what they ask....So you are doing fine with the subject.don't worry, doing more question will definately help u....cheer up.

i amnaged to complete 3 chaps in bio chem , very rapidly. few qs from cvs. yet cudnot complete them. i am trying to do rest of chaps today. i think i will get very less time tomorrow and few days after that. one of my husband's friends is coming with his wife and 2 daughters to stay . i hate this but who will tell ???????????. october will be perhaps difficult for me. my son will be one year old on 14th october and we r planning for a party . 2 days gone - 1 day for prep and another for actual party.i have so much to study and so little time. and whatever i study is soon gone out of my mind............

well, no study on sat &sunday. i cud hardly manage one video on monday. well, guests r coming today. still stuck with bio chem . i am really frustated now !!!!!!!!!!

hi milrac, dont sound so desperate friend....is this ur first read? just do Qs from Kaplan only after u finish reading the section. do Qs in clusters may be like 10 or 20 initially.resist the temptation to look at the answers. just do it no matter right or wrong. then check for the answers and mark them which u got wrong and read that section again before u turn to explanations.check for improvement and then only look for explanations.
just suggesting bs this is hw i do them.....
we can do this.....

hi, after a gap of many days , i startred studing today. guests have left. i started with micro. and did few qs from q book of patho. thanks drbin for ur support. i am trying ur way. i had a doubt abt the patho book which one to study. i had done alot from the book which i donot know whatis its name. it was scanned and given on this site with goljan audio. i downloaded & printed them out . but now i find them they r very extensive. i don't know whether i shud change the book or continue with the same. it has separate general patho and speciality patho .i have very less time.i am still in two minds abt the book ............

i cud finish reading and video of micro . immu is still left. cud not read for last 3 days. i am wating time. wish i had completed doing qs also. but still i will try to rap the immuno+micro qs in 2 days.

hi, i am writing after a long gap. well, i have started with q bank. but i am getting very low scores . i am doing subject wise. my scores are in 50 -60 and once in 40s. i donot know where i stand. do i need to give more to study or do i need to do questions??????????
