first, a lot of thanx to everybody here, i got a lot of precious information by the posts. now, quick questions about y last LOR, this letter written by a physician-scientist, could be the most important one for me, i know him very well through the research cooperation with him, his letter was written very well; he gave me high praise on my research and personality, however, when talk about my clinical skill, he just use one short paragraph and use words like "good clinical skill and good medical knowledge" etc., does this make it look a little bit weak since i am applying CLINICAL RESIDENT, not research scientist? any suggestions?

One strong research letter will do no harm. Use other lors too which tell about your clinical skills.
