hi all,
I finished my exam last week.I don't know how it went. Its a long exhausting exam.
60% OF QS ARE MED, MAY BE MORE. 10% paeds, 10% - obg 10% psyc, statis, ethics.and rest will be like surg, ortho and all the miscellaneous.
Did get 1 ecg, xray and an MRI but all of them were very straight forward.
Qs length were allmost similiar to NBME & UW.
Timing was just right for me, i didn't get time to review in detail. I finished my 5 blocks before lunch break, before 1.30 . Rest of the 3 block i took a 5 minute break after each block.
For me the toughest was 1, 4 and 7 block.I am not able to remember what the qs were but didn't feel satisfied after doing those blocks. What i feel from my experience is if u have done kaplan well + uw , u will be fine. Most important thing is try to relax before starting ur block. Most of the qs will look the same, all will be elderly patients presenting with chest pain/ breathle/ confusion etc.
Psych - i got lots of depre/ adjustment disorder qs.
Dear friends please pray for me. I have done whatever i can . I am satisfied with my prep, i hope i will get a decent score. I am more than happy to answer any of ur doudts. Now i have my step1 left, planning to take it soon. bye for now. I will post my scores as soon as iget it.
