a prog coordinator wrote me that "IMGs need proof of J1 visa"... what does it mean? 1. that they sponsor J1 visa? 2. that they don't sponsor J1 visa but I have to find another sponsor and bring them proofs of that ?????????????????

Hey Wamba...J1 visas for IMGs are sponsored by the ECFMG and not by the program. By the sounds of it, this program does sponsor J1 visa but will require it to be sponsored by the ECFMG, as is the norm.
