friends anyone plzz help me...i am planning for 2008 match ..i cleared my step 1...and planning for step2 in feb/march and cs in april...so i want to go for visa in jan ...can i go so early ,i mean what is the right time for vissa,3/4 mths ahead of my cs date is it good idea.
iam from india..anyone tell me how to approach for visa ,iam new to this and no guidance...any help would matter me a lot..plzz anyone help me ,i really dont know about this visa or cs exam

Hi ethics
once you are registered for CS you'll be sent a sponsorship letter by ECFMG... i guess if you plan to get a visa in march then you should start checking the dates at US embassy now.. as they are being booked very fast....you can take a date with embassy when you feel you'll be ready with all your credentials..

what do u mean by credentials
i am planning my cs in may and want to go for visa in jan.
and in between around march want to give my step2
this is my plan do uthink this is good

by credentials I ment your step1 score report and step2CK status (whether appeared or not ,if appeared then whats the score ,if score not yet recieved then say the awaiting status)and ECFMG sponsorship letter
If you have all these then you wont have problems with the CS visa ,most probably
You can plan your exams according to your convenience as there is no chronological order for these steps
