I'm trying to catch the 2007 match. I have already taken step 1 and step 2 ck, for reasons that I don't really understand I still haven’t received my score report yet (almost 40 day delay in step 2; step 1 is supposed to update next week) planning to take 2 cs as soon as possible.
My question is, assuming I pass step 1 and step 2 CK, can I apply without CS?(I'm an IMG) And, will I be considered if I submit my application by October 15, or is it to late?
I’ll appreciate your help and opinions.

You should start applying now, what are you waiting for? Step2ck score report? Dont wait. Oct 15 might be too late as there is a large pool of candidates already.

thanks docRocker, can I aplly now and send the LORs later? or the programs won't consider me without them? what about CS? do I need it for the application?

You can apply now,write the names of lor writers and assign them to porgrams.
you can send the lors later ,they will be automatically uploaded,
Some programs need ECFmg certificate for applying.Barring those programs you can apply in other programs where you meet the rest of the eligiblilty criteria.
Apply asap with as complete of an application as you can manage now..BY the time your application is submitted your scores should become avialble.Time is crucial.People do get interviews with only one available score.Difficult proposition but realistically possible .

Hey laptop please do not become too serious. Your mind needs to keep creating .I respect your imagination,sense of humor, and most of all your great writing skills ... I'm sure that english is your native language because you manage to express your ideas very well.... Keep up the nice work laptop

Laptop is right, apply like he said. Last year I applied late waiting for CK results until October. A lot of programs recjeted my application next day, saying that they are overloaded and does not accept applications anymore....GOOD LUCK

for the score report if it is still not arrived: fax ecfmg with your id, name, test date, centre and ask for duplicate. You can ask for duplicate within 90 days of reporting without any cost. do it today.

Lap top , when I read ur serious reply, I thought U'll tell him to apply in April or so, but anyhow continue ur role & write in ur signature (for beginners: never believe me....never consider my reply as serious)
U R playing a major role in the forum, thousands can reply but no one is laptopping
there is alot of depression in this forum visitors, so I think ur next upgrade is forum guru, then Laptoppin tablets (anti depressant)
