I firmly believe that all the information frm neurology programs is being channelled through a special neurology server which i initially thought had faults due to being hacked by extra terrestrials which are well known as guruchus on this forum;
But after my intensive work on this issue ( since i am idle and not getting interview calls...) i found that it was not true and for the first time it has been difficult to ascertain the reason ...
But i have given benefit of doubt to Neurology PD's and i'm not getting suspicious of them as all folks are experiencing the same..
Not sure how long this element of doubt is going to last ..
may be we hear from programs next week.. GL all

haven't heard anything from prelim program.. prelim programs are way to difficult for imgs? right? lot of amgs competing for the position. they say its best for imgs to look for an integrated program. so im really hoping for an integrated program. the interview i got is an integrated program.
hey i also heard that neurology programs are getting more applicants than they used too or as compared to last year. This is because of the new nrmp thing instead of sfmatch. Its cheaper and accessible so people not really interested in neurology are trying their luck also to get their visa. well i hope its not true for the members of this neuro thread. Well i would still we have the advantage over those people since we truly like neurology. hehehe

This has been a dry week for me too. I only received two rejects from the prelim IM progs. I only received two wait letter from 2 neuro progs

hi,
i m img .got 88/86/cs passed.waiting for step 3 result.completed im residency from india.got 1 int from neuro and 3 from prelim.i 3 rejection in neuro.i heard that neuro program start reviewing appications late.good to see u all.keep in touch.hope next week will bring some good fortune for all of us.

Dear Vijay, just try to contact every program by email or phone. You will find more than 15 that you will meet their criteria. GL

I tried calling. At the end I ended up with 15 integrated+ 4 seperate pgy1 im programs. Is that all or are they anymore programs.

it is more than that. out of nearly 77 programs, 30-40 would match to you.

HEY GUYS,
I FINALLY APPLIED TO 50 PROGRAMS LAST NIGHT, CHECKED THE "TRACK YOUR APPLICATIONS" AND I SAW THAT MY PHOTO AND LORS HAD NOT BEEN UPLOADED TO THE POST OFFICE BY ECFMG!!!!!!!
THEY GOT IT (ACCORDING TO FEDEX) 2WEEKS AGO!!!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON???? IS THIS NORMAL OR THEY SIMPLY LOST MY STUFF??????
SOMEBODY PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS!!!!!!!!

dont worry.. documents take some time initially (24-48 hrs) till they reach ERAS post office.. once they are received then they are transmitted to all the programs..

I tried calling programs but could not get nearly half of them, all together I got 22 programs- 16 integrated, 7 with sep pgy1 application.
I just wanted to ask u how many integrated programs r there in neurology???????? roughly. with either j1 or h1 visa??

HI ALL,
ITS time for mid week review for neurology match....
i'm sure now that something is going wrong here and its not akin to my delusional mood...
Now PD's are taking a real chance by not informing us....but why they are acting bizarrely is still unclear...
my thought process is considering couple of possibilities here but i'm constantly searching for evidence to prove that ERAS hasn't sent my applications to neurology programs even after taking money from my account and that myeras is just an illusion to convince me that my applications have reached to programs...
i am thinking of making it as one of my strengths for not giving up in life during my interview ( if i am going to get one..) as an answer to interesting question ( Tell me about yourself)

To Vijay, I don't have the list, but you can creat one for yourself. check the FRIEDA and also the NRMP Directory if you have registered for Match and have access to it. Try some Advanced aslo. Applying to Neurology is a like a gambling. Secure your seat by applying to some prelim and Categorical Internal Medicine.

hello! I am new and will be joining you on this post.
Applied to 50 neuro and 30 prelim.
got one prelim and one categorical neuro prigram where they invited me also to a prelim.
got one neuro rejection from Mayo didn't even bother downloading my files!!!!
credentials IMG, Need J1, step1 99, step cs wainting result, ck next week. us experience one month clerkhip at MGH (Harvard) great LORs.

got one rejection frm Creighton Univ. Prelim Med Program....
Its really tough to get calls from Prelim programs as they are very competitive and also there are overwhelming applications for Medicine Programs..
No news frm Neurology programs throughout this week...

Yesterday, I got an invitation from Vanderbilt, but when I called them, I was told it is not ture and is a computer error. 
Just for info they have 4 date for IV, starting Nov, 28, going every 2 weeks
