I am applying for Neurology too. I only applied for the programs in California due to family reason. I am still waiting..anxiously. Hope we all get into the program that we like in the end.

welcome to this thread. I have applied 52 programs and my credentials are 89/98/CS yt to pass, i have also applied on 14 sept and awaiting replies frm programs, yes i have applied for prelim programs outside neuro programs, i come from love island...well let us keep in touch and thanks laptop and chemamr.....

delusion, those are good score. well at least you gave me some hope again. i dont have that good scores 85/86 i'm done with cs and step 3 graudated 2002. had some neuro residency in my country. which programs.

good to hear frm you. buddy your scores are good and most importantly ur neuro residency experience would be aplus i guess. i dont have background experience in neuro and graduated in 2003. well i would like you to read laptop posts to know more abt love island- a place of love peace and comradrie; i am fmg . hi guys
its time to do a bit serious thinking here, wondering if any news frm neurology programs is comin thru or guruchus have hacked our neurology server.... needless to say i am getting bit paranoid here afraid of getting ataxic and aphasic due to guruchus interfering with my brain; need help with more info frm you guys to fight these evils with us standing in unison, GL to you all for this coming week for interviews, keep in touch bye

yeah im getting paranoid too.. so if anyone could share their experiences with matching in neuro. its getting awfully silent. haven't heard from any program. not even a letter saying they have accepted my application. thanks thanks. im planning to email the programs by next week. or shoud i do it this week?

hi gulliermo,
i understand we all are affected here by guruchus trying to hack our neurology server which shares a common software with love island. but we need to be persistent here and work out by sharing information indeed. I have got email re receipt of application for prelim medicine program... i could easily recognize guruchu virus attached to this mail; neways i am hopeful that we would fight back.....

hi
its seems that this week is sounding no more positive but i think that programs are receiving huge no. of applications as confirmed by the emails sent by the programs; but its still the start of season and waitful watching seems to the best option; i am working on anti guruchu software which might help us in better functioning of our neurology server; hope to come out with a solution here; till then GL guys

Hi guys
I applied to Neurology too. Iīve applied to 24 Neuro progs and 26 IM prelim programs on sept 3. I havenīt heard anything, no rejects no interviews inv. just two letter of received application!!!
this is so stressfull.

Hello Guys!
I am applying for neuro, too. I am sending in my application this weekend... Little delay with the paperwork...
Anyways, those who got rejected from Mayo did you have research experience? I have good board scores (95/95/passed) , papers and 4 years of US research experience but graduated in 2002 :-(( and NO US clinical experience... :-(((((((
So I am a bit nervous as you can imagine, your thoughts are more than welcome!!!

hello
it seems that week ended on a quite dull note atleast for me.. (not trying to be pessimistic at all)
I'm not sure what's puzzling PD'S minds this time or if this is the usual pattern for neurology interviews or are they testing our patience which is a key to become a good neurologist ......our neurology server is still slow without any technical faults and guruchu invasion has been ruled out...
its still early , so its difficult to find an answer..
Any suggestions welcome to make our wait less tiring and more intersting..

Thanks for the encouraging words! My research is on GBM therapy and I am working in a neurosurgery dept.... It is not hard-core neuroscience; it's closer to immunology but it is neuro-related.
