D vilous are broad based; this is pediculated. it's not cancer 'cause is a well delimited, pedunculate, noninfiltrative, nonulcerated, noninfected mass, so benign

A. old age and blood in stool and this sort of lesion. carcinoma until proved otherwise by microscopy Only microscopy can differentiate adenoma and carcinoma. there is no other way to differentiate them

agree with Manunatsai, besides the classic appearance of villous adenoma -> strawberry on a stick! villous adenoma has the greatest potential to undergo malignant conformation however, the specimen clearly shows well delineated, tubular, pedunculated and the whole bit, so nothing to suggest tht this has undergone malignant change. but obviously histopath. is the goldstandard! but the question here only asks, the most-likely diagnosis, so don't get confused, coz sometimes even on boards things are exactly the way they appear! and spjokes anemia in oldage does'nt necassarily means cancer, infact most common cause of anemia is nutritional one in oldage, but one must rule out cancer first as it is the most dangerous of the other etiologies! answer is definitely D
