i guess i made a mistake by going thru ck b4 step 1, anybody has an idea how much it wd impat my scores? thanks

in case ure not done with the exam, look thru the exam score thread and note which memebers r in a similar boat..than read thru their techniques recently recommended step 1 topics include Immunology, neuroscience patho and pharma to some extent. GL

Is the Immunology covered in the Kaplan Paediatrics review book enough?

no i still didnot take the exam, still on 12/12, what do you mean about immunology? allergic rhinitis, urticaria ,digeorge,iga etc?? immunization? or somthing else?

If you are an old IMG who has not one basic sciences in a while (like me) then yeah Step 2 will be tougher than normal. Unless you have been in the clinical setting till now. If you are a current graduate then maybe Step2 is better. I went the regular way doing Step 1 before....and trust me IT HELPS A LOT. knowing all that basic pharmac, physio and micro helps not having to keep going back all the time wondering what the Huh??!!!!.......:-)) Having said that if you search this forum there have been tons of people who have done it your way and have been sucessful.
