bone densities are reported either as T or z values. which one is more significant?

T value is more significant I guess : Z values compares you to other people who are the same age as you are so the Z score may not be as valuable because you are comparing yourself to a skewed population, whereas the fracture risk is based on T score or value, for ex. if you are 80 and you have a normal Z score you could potentially have a T score of minus 2½ and be at a 2% to 4% increase risk for fracture.
