hi ,
my credentials are,
2004 graduate, gc holder. step 1 77, cs -passed. and ck exam in october.i have done observership with 3 doctors and doing another 2 observeship in a hospital. acls certified.
is there any point for me in applying residency this year , as my score is bad in step1. i feel iam spending lot of time in application process. or should i have to stop all these appli process and give exam later this year and apply for next year. iam not able to take a decision . half of my friends tell me to apply and the othe half not to apply.
any body pls any advice please.

How prepared are u for step 2, if well prepared give it in october, apply for the match and schedule ur interviews in dec end and jan, so that u know whether u pssed or not.
But if u r on boderline with ut pre forget this match, take the exam at ur own pace, try for unfilled positions which will arise in april may next year.
Since u r gc, it will be easy to get them for u.
