Good backup H1 program. But think 10 times before you accept a prematch.

I dont know but I think if you have other options you should try to go for the best you deserve even if you need visa.I have never been there myself but i talked to few seniors there and they advise me to not to undersell myself.Most of the candidates signing prematch there had great credentials and could have easily matched into a Univ program or some other H1 hospital with higher academic standards in more safer cities with wider fellowship opportunities.
Having said that If I had too few interview calls with only J1 programs I may still go for a prematch there.
