Everyone on this thread please note the following:
Use the OASIS trick only after your scores have been reported. Else it will/won't let you reapply based on your Eligibility Period.
Case 1: Score reported at OASIS.
If its lets you reapply, then I am sorry you've most likely failed.
Case 2: Score not reported at OASIS. Eligibility Period not expired.
It will not let you reapply. You cannot know your pass/fail status right now. You will have to wait till scores are reported at OASIS.
Case 3: Score not reported at OASIS. Eligibility Period has expired.
It will let you reapply. But DO NOT PANIC. You again will have to wait for the scores to be reported.
BOTTOMLINE: Use the OASIS trick only after your scores have been reported!

P.S.: I have experienced Case 3 and believe me it can be horrifying. Eventually, I tried it again after scores were reported and was very relieved on passing ;-)

I took my step 1 on Oct 13, 2006. My eligibility period expired on Oct 31, 06. My score are not reported, yet. On Nov 1, 06 i tried to register for step1, it was and is still allowing me to proceeed with registration. Last 2 days has been nerve wrecking. Just now, i read this thread and kairavshash's post. Hopefully, my situation is as explained in case 3 by kairavshah. My scores are NOT yet reported, so i will wait for my scores to be reported on OASIS, and then try to register for step 1.
Please pray for me, and i will let you know, how this situation resolves for me. Thanks, Kairavshsh for making situation clear to me.

Hi everybody:
Just couple of hours ago, ECFMG updated my info and REPORTED MY SCORE. After that i tried Oasis Trick and it worked. It told me i can NOT register again, as i have already PASSED. I still do NOT know my score. And now i am eagerly waiting for it. Hopefully, i will receive my score in couple of days.
BOTTOM LINE: OASIS trick ONLY works, when scores are reported.

My situation was exactly the same as vanshita's. I just did it again after the report date became available and it worked. The big red message saying that I had already passes popped up. This is awsome. Now it's a matter of waiting for the official report to arrive and check the scores.

After the score reposts are posted i tried the oasis trick it let me apply.
what dose this mean
