night terror:* is extreme form of fright( child awakes in terror).
*There is no memory of dream or arousal.
*May be an early sign of temporal lobe epilepsy.
*may develop sleepwalking episodes
*occur in NREM or slow wave sleep (3 and 4 stage)
Nightmare:*occur in REM sleep
*person can recall or remember his dream
